AsureQuality is seeking motivated Laboratory Technicians for our Wellington Laboratory on a fixed-term four-month contract. You will join the Serology team and contribute to high-quality testing in a regulated environment.

The role focuses on accurate testing, timely results, and proper sample handling. This position suits recent graduates with a BSc in Chemistry or Biological Sciences, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biological Sciences is required or recently completed.
• Previous experience in a commercial or research laboratory is advantageous but not essential.
• Full training will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
• You will thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and follow procedures to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and record sample tests using the correct methods.
• Meet agreed testing timeframes and report results accurately.
• Ensure samples are stored or disposed of appropriately after testing.
