New Zealand Government (Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children) is seeking a Permanent, Full-time Coordinator Care and Protection based at our Orewa site. The role focuses on coordinating Family Group Conferences (FGC) and delivering care pathways for tamariki and rangatahi within Pūao-te-Ata-tū, aligning with the Indigenous framework.

You will work with whānau, hapū, iwi and other stakeholders to facilitate conferences, review decisions, and reconvene when necessary, building knowledge in care

Responsabilidades

• Manage care and protection Family Group Conferences (FGC) within the spirit of Pūao-te-Ata-tū and the Act.
• Lead FGC practice aligned with the Indigenous and Bicultural Framework.
• Facilitate conferences with whānau, hapū, iwi and family groups to develop care pathways.
• Review decisions and reconvene if required and ensure meetings are accessible.
