Job summary

Fonterra in New Zealand seeks a Control Systems Deployment Engineer to plan and coordinate national automation deployments, working with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and improve manufacturing reliability.

You will help develop, implement, and lifecycle manage control systems, enabling integration with MES and MOM on the shop floor, and drive the base automation project as part of the Operations for the Future strategy with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Experience in control systems and applications with strong stakeholder management.
Proven experience with PLCs and automation projects.
Background in engineering and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to liaise with business stakeholders and leaders to align on objectives.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate national deployment of automation systems across Fonterra sites.
Develop and deploy lifecycle strategies for control systems while integrating with MES/MOM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to meet business objectives.
Support the base automation project to standardise automation for safer, smarter workflows.
