Job summary

ClearPoint is seeking experienced Senior Frontend Engineers based in Auckland or Wellington to join our team on contract roles. You will work in a hybrid setup, spending 3 days onsite at client sites and collaborating with design and product teams to deliver polished, user-focused experiences across a range of projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS, including Hooks, Redux, and React Query, plus familiarity with microfrontend architectures

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS, including Hooks, Redux, and React Query.
• Experience with microfrontend or microsite architectures.
• Strong understanding of component driven design, state management, and responsive UI patterns.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
• Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud native deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hybrid model with 3 days onsite at the client's site.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to build polished, user-focused experiences.
• Contribute to multiple projects for clients across different domains.

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker)
• Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud native deployment patterns
• Nice to have: exposure to AI assisted development tools, copilots, or agentic workflows
