Qualifications

• Applicants must hold, or be eligible to apply for, vocational registration in Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• We welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced Paediatricians with an interest in endocrinology/diabetes.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and effective assessment and management of patients that follow accepted professional guidelines
• Research and study relating to the treatment of a specific patient
• Clinical advice and support to other staff
• Investigative and treatment procedures carried out within organisational policies and guidelines
• Provide verbal advice to GPs who telephone for assistance
• Reading and responding to patients referral letters
• Community health promotion activities
