Job summary

Canstaff is seeking a motivated construction labourer to work across the Hawke's Bay region on civil and residential projects.

Your day may include heavy lifting, site clean-ups, digging, demolition, and foundation work, with tasks varying by experience.

We offer $23–$28 per hour, 8% holiday pay, weekly pay, PPE provided, and ongoing work across the region.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and team focus.

• Sound understanding of site safety and hazard management.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and pass a drug test.

Job description

Perform a range of tasks as a labourer in civil and/or residential construction. Earn $24 to $28 per hour plus other perks. Work available across the region.

We are looking for a motivatedconstruction labourer to work in the Hawkes Bay region. Because our clientworks across the entire Hawkes Bay area, they have work available in multiple locations, so no matter what part of the Bay you're based in, we encourage your application.

About the Role

Our client undertakes a range of civil and residential constructionso your day-to-day work will vary. You may be helping prep sites for concreting one day and doing heavy lifting and moving materials the next. This is a great role to get you started in construction and help you gain a range of useful skills. The tasks set to you will depend on any previous experience and skills you haveand may include (but aren't limited to) the following:

• Heavy lifting and moving materials
• General site clean-ups
• Digging and soft landscaping
• Demolition and concrete breaking
• Foundation and framing work

About You

You're a self-motivated person with acan-do attitude who's a realteam player. You can effectively and positivelycommunicate with co-workers and management. You are notafraid of hard, physical work.

Any relevant tickets and licenses you hold are hugely beneficial such as WTRendorsement,Class 2 or 4 licence,Site Safe etc.Civil and constructionindustry experience is also beneficial but not necessary.
