Job summary

Remarkable People Limited in Wellington seeks an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a busy civil crew. This hands-on role covers concrete laying, placing and finishing, with a focus on kerb machine extrusion and on-site safety.

You will read plans, supervise a crew, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain strong communication. A permanent opportunity may be offered to the right candidate; weekly pay and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Kerb machine/extruding experience is essential.
• Strong concrete laying, placing and finishing experience.
• Ability to read plans and follow project specifications.
• Strong understanding of site Health & Safety.
• Full NZ Driver Licence preferred.
• Reliable with excellent communication skills.
• Previous civil construction experience.
• Confident leading and working alongside a crew.

Remarkable People are looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman to join a busy civil construction team in Wellington.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong concrete experience, particularly extruding using a kerb machine, alongside concrete laying, placing and finishing.

For the right person, there is also the potential to move into a permanent position.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a senior concrete role
• Kerb machine/extruding experience is essential
• Strong concrete laying, placing and finishing experience
• Previous civil construction experience
• Confident leading and working alongside a crew
• Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
• Strong understanding of site Health & Safety
• Full NZ Driver Licence preferred
• Reliable with excellent communication skills
