Job summary

QT Queenstown, part of EVT Limited, is seeking a Concierge to be the first face guests see and the go-to for personalised experiences. This is a part-time role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. You should love the area, know it inside out, and commit for at least six months.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, coordinating transport, recommending activities, and promoting EVT properties. NZ work rights required and a friendly, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a concierge, front office or guest-facing hospitality role.
• A genuine passion for Queenstown and the ability to share local knowledge with enthusiasm.
• A full New Zealand or international driver's licence held for a minimum of six months, with confidence operating a 12-seater minivan.
• The right to work in New Zealand for a minimum of six months is required for this role.
• A warm, polished and proactive manner with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival, manage luggage, coordinate parking and operate the hotel shuttle service safely and in accordance with EVT policy.
• Provide personalised recommendations and bookings for local activities, dining, transport and experiences.
• Identify and manage VIP guests, liaise with front desk staff to ensure special requirements are actioned promptly.
• Maintain the hotel's greeting board and ensure public areas are clean and presentable; complete shift checklists.
• Provide barista service when required and ensure all guest purchases are billed correctly.
• Be a knowledgeable brand ambassador for QT Queenstown and EVT properties.
