Qualifications

• Experience in conduct risk, risk culture, operational risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
• Financial services experience within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
• The confidence to provide constructive challenge while building trusted relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A relevant tertiary qualification.

We're looking for an experienced risk professional to join our Conduct Risk & Risk Culture team. This is an opportunity to influence how conduct risk is understood, managed, and embedded across the bank through effective Line 2 oversight, practical advice, and meaningful challenge.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across ASB to:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on conduct risk and risk culture
• Review and challenge incidents, root cause analysis, and remediation actions
• Identify emerging risks and support the business to address control gaps
• Maintain policies, procedures, guidance, and training materials
• Monitor adherence to conduct and risk culture requirements
• Contribute insights and reporting for management, oversight committees, the Board, and regulators
