Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager for a major New Zealand infrastructure project. Based in the Auckland region, you will lead compliance, governance and assurance activities across all project phases, reporting to the Commercial Director.

The role focuses on safeguarding contractual integrity and strong governance while coordinating with technical, finance and stakeholder teams. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in compliance or related areas, a relevant tertiary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in compliance, governance or assurance within major infrastructure, PPP, or project finance.
• Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
• Strong understanding of complex contractual frameworks and multi-party delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, governance processes, and assurance systems
• Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual, regulatory and statutory obligations across all project phases
• Oversee compliance across multiple contract interfaces, ensuring clear accountability and effective coordination
• Manage audit and assurance activities, including reporting for senior leadership and governance forums
• Identify, assess and mitigate compliance and contractual risks to protect project performance
