Job summary

HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our services to provide care to clients in their homes and communities.

You will assist clients to live independently, following care plans that may include meal prep, outings, medication, personal cares and home management.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or care-giving is desirable.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Willingness to undergo police vetting and additional checks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients live independently at home and in the community.
• Follow care plans to support clients’ goals and daily living.
• Provide meal preparation and personal care.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Support transportation to activities and appointments.
