Oceania Healthcare Ltd in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant for The Bellevue Village. You will support meal preparation, serve residents with warmth and ensure a clean, compliant kitchen environment in a permanent role working 64 hours per fortnight with regular weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality or food service environment.
• Basic understanding of food preparation and food safety.
• Ability to follow cleaning and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and assist with food preparation, meal service and general kitchen duties.
• Serve meals to residents with warmth and care.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen.
• Follow food safety standards and Food Control Plan procedures.
• Work closely with teammates to deliver a great dining experience.
