Job summary

Presbyterian Support Northern is seeking an Enliven Support Worker to assist clients at home with personal cares, meal preparation and daily activities. You will work to the care plan, support independence and participate in community activities.

Flexible hours across week and weekends are available. A NZ resident with a driver’s licence and strong English communication skills is required to join our dedicated team delivering compassionate health and social services.

Qualifications

New Zealand resident, citizen or eligible work visa
Full NZ driver’s licence or Restricted licence with a reliable vehicle
Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Clear English literacy and verbal communication
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Commitment to professional standards and client wellbeing

Responsibilities

Visit clients in their homes to provide personal cares (showering, dressing) and medication prompts per care plans
Assist with meal preparation, home tasks and community activities as required
Adhere to care plans, record updates and communicate with the team
Support elderly, disability or recovery clients to maintain independence and safety
