Job summary

Presbyterian Support Northern is seeking an Enliven Support Worker to visit clients in their homes and provide personalised care. The role includes helping with bathing, dressing, meals, and community activities, guided by each client’s care plan.

You will require a NZ resident or eligible visa, a NZ driver’s licence with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Strong English and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible work visa.
• A full New Zealand driver's licence or a Restricted licence with a reliable vehicle.
• Able to accommodate flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Clear English language skills to read instructions and speak with clients and colleagues.
• Strong customer service skills and interactions with a wide range of people.
• High-quality standards and ability to follow policies and practices.
• Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery.
• Confident to visit clients in their homes and provide care and support.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to help with personal cares and daily activities.
• Assist with medication, meal preparation, home help and community activities as needed.
• Deliver support in line with the agreed care plan and keep records up to date.
