Job summary

Radius Care is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to help clients live independently and safely in their own homes across Hamilton and Waikato. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal planning, medication management, and emotional support to each client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker.
• Experience with brain and spinal injury is preferred.
• Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 preferred.
• Certificate in Brain Injury Support and related areas an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support safe transfers and mobility using aids as required.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal planning and feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities for inclusion.
• Administer medications and monitor health under guidance of professionals.
• Check and document vital signs and note any changes.

6 months experience as a SupportWorker

Education

Certificate in Brain Injury Support
