Job summary

Genius Early Years is seeking a qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Home-Based Early Learning Service as a Visiting Teacher in the Marlborough/Nelson region. The role is part-time, starting at 15 hours per week with travel to support our Educators and team.

You will provide professional leadership, mentoring and guidance to in-home Educators, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for Tamariki and whanau, and you will need a Diploma of Teaching and

Wanted: Qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher

Join our Home-Based Early Learning Service Team, as a Visiting Teacher.

If you are passionate about home-based childcare and enjoy Variety and Flexible working conditions in a fun environment, you will enjoy this role providing professional leadership and support to our in-home Educators.

This role is part time starting on 15 hours per week with the opportunity to increase as the network grows. This permanent part-time position would be based in the Marlborough/Nelson region. The successful applicant would need to be prepared to travel around the regions to support our Educators and team.

• an early childhood teaching qualification (minimum Diploma of Teaching)
• current full NZ Education Council practising certificate
• experience in leading adults, including mentoring and coaching
• a full clean NZ driver's license.
• knowledge of professional practice in early childhood education
• understanding of Ministry of Education legislation.
• ability to juggle a varied workload
• excellent time management skills
• self-motivated and enthusiastic
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• experience with learning stories, programme planning and some administration.
• good computer skills.
