Heritage Lifecare is offering an Activities Assistant role at Stillwater Lifecare & Village in Nelson. This permanent part-time position (16 hours per week) includes morning and weekend shifts, with a focus on delivering meaningful activities that support residents’ physical, spiritual, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs.

You will plan and deliver activities, build relationships with residents and their whanau, and contribute to a warm, caring environment.

Formación

• Experience caring for others, ideally in aged care.
• NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing).
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Full NZ driver's license and confidence driving a van.
• Genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service and a friendly attitude.
• Commitment to health and safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver activity programs meeting residents' physical, spiritual, cultural, cognitive and emotional needs.
• Plan, organise and run activities, outings and events; engage with community groups.
• Work collaboratively to provide a safe, caring environment for residents and whanau.
