Tranzit Group – New Plymouth, North Island
Tranzit is New Zealand’s largest family-owned transport and tourism company, operating across Aotearoa. Having recently celebrated our centenary, we are proud of our reputation as pioneers and innovators in the bus and coach industry, and of the role we play in keeping Kiwi communities connected through safe, reliable and high-quality transport services.
We are seeking an experienced Company Manager to lead our Taranaki business. Based in New Plymouth, the operation delivers school, charter, tours and public transport services across the region, including New Plymouth, Waitara, Inglewood, Oakura, Opunake, Hawera and Stratford.
Tranzit Coachlines Taranaki is part of Tranzit Group’s CIT Division, covering Coachlines, InterCity and Tourism. You are a commercially astute operational leader who understands the importance of safe, reliable service delivery, strong customer outcomes and genuine care for people. You may come from transport, logistics, tourism, infrastructure or another complex service environment, and bring the confidence to lead a busy operation with structure, sound judgement and heart.
This is a hands-on business leadership role with a strategic lens. You will lead a frontline team of more than 80 drivers across school, charter, tours and public transport services, supported by local operational, training and health and safety capability, as well as the wider CIT support network. Key clients include the Ministry of Education and Taranaki Regional Council. Building and maintaining trusted partnerships with these stakeholders, particularly our school clients and Taranaki Regional Council, will be an important part of ensuring strong service delivery and positive outcomes for the community.
