Job summary

Spectrum Care is seeking a compassionate Community Support Worker to assist adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in Central Auckland. You will provide person-led, one-on-one support in homes and communities, helping clients pursue hobbies, routines, and meaningful social connections.

Hours are varied across mornings to evenings, Monday to Sunday, with two-week induction and support to gain a Level 3 qualification in Community Support Work.

Qualifications

• Full NZ driver's licence or working towards one.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Ability to pass a NZ police check.
• Willingness to gain a Level 3 qualification in Community Support Work.
• Attend a 2-week paid induction.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with disabilities in homes and communities.
• Help people explore hobbies and build routines.
• Assist to connect with local clubs, spaces, and groups.
• Strengthen social confidence and relationships.
• Assist with daily living tasks and community outings.
