Job summary

H2R is supporting a values-led social housing organisation in Auckland to recruit dedicated Tenancy Managers. You will deliver end-to-end tenancy management across a social housing portfolio, visiting homes, supporting tenants, and collaborating with navigators and external partners to achieve sustainable tenancies and positive community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing or tenancy services.
• Confidence discussing sensitive matters such as debt and conflict resolution.
• Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
• Solid communication skills and good written documentation.
• A full, unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Comfort using systems and Microsoft Office, with training provided on internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tenancy portfolios in line with the Residential Tenancies Act.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with tenants and whānau.
• Address rent arrears and support tenants to sustain their tenancy.
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues appropriately.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance.
• Work closely with navigators, community providers, and internal teams.
• Represent the organisation at the Tenancy Tribunal when required.
