Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Liaison Officer to strengthen ties with Queenstown's diverse communities in New Zealand. You will facilitate outreach, gather feedback, and help shape program delivery to be responsive and locally relevant.

You will organise meetings, engage with community leaders, and ensure clear information flow. A driver’s license and willingness to travel within the area are beneficial.

Formación

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in community engagement or public relations.
• Ability to travel within the locale if required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance communication and engagement between the organisation and the local community.
• Organise and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to share information and gather feedback.
• Act as a primary point of contact for community members, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local government officials, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and assess community needs, providing insights to inform program development and service delivery.
• Disseminate information about the organisation's services, programs, and initiatives to the community.
• Represent the organisation at community forums, local events, and relevant meetings.
• Assist in resolving community-related issues and conflicts.
• Prepare regular reports on community engagement activities and developments.
• Contribute to culturally appropriate communication materials.
