Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Community Project Manager in Queenstown to lead development projects from initiation through completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met for community benefit.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, proven project management experience, and strong communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders and partners effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably managing community-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Experience working within the charity or non-profit sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize community projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project teams, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
• Communicate project updates and status reports effectively to all stakeholders.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all project deliverables.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and community partners.
