NZCL in Horowhenua is seeking empathetic Community Support Workers to assist people with disabilities in community-facing roles. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities to support individuals involved in the criminal justice system, helping clients build independence, achieve goals, and engage safely within their community.

You will collaborate with families and a multi-disciplinary team, follow care plans, and foster trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Full driver's license is essential.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
• Experience supporting people with daily living, ideally those with intellectual or physical disabilities.
• Experience working with children or youth.
• Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness in a diverse community.

Responsabilités

• Support individuals daily to recognise their potential and build the skills needed to participate in their communities.
• Implement and deliver their care and rehabilitation plans.
• Develop positive relationships with people and their whānau, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to help achieve rehabilitation goals.
