Job summary

Momentum Consulting in Auckland is seeking a Communications & Engagement Specialist to support a major infrastructure project and contribute to the wider communications team. The role is varied with hands-on project communications, stakeholder engagement and content delivery.

You'll join two Auckland offices with flexibility to work from home one day per week, and you should bring 3–6 years' experience in communications or engagement and a proactive, client-facing approach.

We're looking for a capable Communications & Engagement Specialist to join a well-established organisation, supporting a major projects while also contributing to the wider communications team.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering a mix of project communications, stakeholder engagement and content delivery.

About you

You'll have around 3-6 years' experience in communications (and ideally engagement) and be confident managing the day-to-day delivery of communications activity.

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take initiative and deliver quality work without needing close supervision.

Ideally, You'll Bring

• Proven experience in communications, stakeholder engagement or project communications.
• Strong writing skills and experience producing content across multiple channels.
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Experience coordinating events, stakeholder activities or engagement initiatives.
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach, with the confidence to work in a client-facing environment.

Experience in infrastructure, transport, engineering or consulting environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
