Qualifications

• Experience in similar role in busy kitchens.
• Familiar with à la carte menu operations.
• Ability to follow HACCP and hygiene procedures.
• Availability for late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce breakfast items, conference food and a wide range of dishes to a high standard.
• Present and plate each dish and its accompaniments correctly.
• Work with high-quality produce to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare meals meeting dietary requirements (e.g., dairy-free, gluten-free).
• Apply hygiene, health and safety practices across the kitchen.
• Handle cooking appliances and tools safely and correctly.
• Manage supplies and equipment and reduce waste.
• Freeze and preserve foods; wash up; cover other kitchen duties as required.
• Contribute to training and recruitment when needed.
