Commercial Arboriculture Supervisor — Commercial Growth Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Arboriculture Supervisor in Auckland to identify, price, and secure commercial arboriculture work across the region and oversee the safe and efficient delivery of that work. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong industry knowledge, confidence dealing with clients, and the drive to help grow Asplundh’s commercial operations.
In this role, you will strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying and establishing new professional client opportunities. You will also play an active role in supporting arborist crews through practical leadership, mentorship, and skill development, working closely with a highly functioning and competent team to expand Asplundh’s presence in Auckland and continue supporting the company’s long-term growth.
What you'll do:
- Identify, chase, quote, and help secure commercial arboriculture work across Auckland
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients
- Develop new professional client opportunities and represent Asplundh with confidence
- Promote and maintain a strong health, safety, and environmental culture
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality audits
- Monitor productivity, quality, and contract performance.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery
- Support the training, coaching, and development of crew members
- Play an active role in the management of arborist crews, including skill development, mentorship, and in-field leadership
- Assist with resource planning, scheduling, and reporting requirements
- Manage equipment, plant, and operational resources effectively
- Ability to pass a pre-employment MOJ check, drug and alcohol test and medical.
You will bring:
- Extensive Arboriculture industry experience
- Demonstrated leadership or crew supervision experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A safety first mindset
- Strong time management and planning
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Proficiency using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and operational management systems
- Full Class 1 Driver's licence (minimum). Class 2 preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment MOJ check, drug and alcohol test and medical.
