Job summary

Anthony Harper in Ōtautahi/Christchurch seeks a commercial property lawyer to provide high quality, commercially astute advice across the full spectrum of property matters, including investment, development, acquisitions and leasing.

You will work closely with partners and clients from an early stage, take ownership of matters, and have the opportunity to supervise and help develop junior lawyers in a supportive environment that values wellbeing and client service.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practise in New Zealand and have 5+ years' experience in commercial property.
• Experience in development, investment, leasing or property finance is valuable but not required to cover every area.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach with the ability to work autonomously and provide excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, commercially astute legal advice across the full spectrum of commercial property matters, including property investment, development, acquisitions and leasing.
• Work closely with partners and clients from an early stage, structure transactions, identify key issues and carry them through to completion.
• Take ownership of matters, supervise and help develop junior lawyers where appropriate.
