Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is partnering with a Canterbury developer-builder to appoint an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead a major Christchurch redevelopment. The role is hands-on, driving the project forward and coordinating the wider team across site, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client, with accountability for programme, procurement, quality and commercial outcomes.

Are you an experienced Commercial Project Manager looking for your next opportunity in Christchurch?

We're working with a growing Canterbury developer-builder looking for an experienced PM to take the lead on a major commercial redevelopment project.

The role

This is a hands-on Project Manager position where you'll take responsibility for driving the project forward and coordinating the wider project team.

You'll work closely with the site team, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client, managing programme, procurement, quality, commercial outcomes and day-to-day project delivery. You will be involved from planning and pre-construction through to completion, so this will suit someone who enjoys having visibility across the whole project.

Experience across commercial redevelopment, refurbishment or existing-building projects would be particularly relevant. A good understanding of NZS 3910, the Construction Contracts Act and the Canterbury construction market would also be beneficial.
