MBIE's Commercial team is seeking a proactive procurement coordinator in Central Wellington. You will triage requests, provide practical guidance on procurement processes and support delivery teams with data, records and reporting to ensure compliant, efficient services.

Working with the Commercial team, MBIE's internal procurement function, you will be the first point of coordination for procurement requests from across the organisation. You will triage enquiries and provide practical advice and guidance for procurement, in line with MBIE's procurement policy and the Government Procurement Rules. Reporting to the Commercial Practice Manager, you will support the Commercial delivery teams by coordinating work, monitoring progress, maintaining reliable records and reporting on deliverables. You will use sound judgement to identify risks and elevate matters that require specialist commercial advice. This is a varied role combining customer service, procurement coordination, systems support, reporting and continuous improvement. You will help ensure our commercial services are consistent, efficient and customer-focused.
