Job summary

AVMH Limited is seeking two reliable Commercial Cleaners to join our team in Auckland. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness in commercial premises, working both independently and with others.

Shifts run 8pm to 3am with a minimum 30 hours per week. We welcome applicants with at least one year of cleaning experience or relevant Level 2/3 qualification, and a valid driver's licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, mop and clean floors and carpets.
• Dust, wipe and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms and other common areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management.
• Ensure work meets company and client standards.
• Be available to work from 8pm to 3am.

AVMH Limited is seeking two reliable and motivated Commercial Cleaners to join our team. We are committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services to commercial clients and maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming environments.

Location: 1/49 Oakdale Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland, 1041, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Positions Available: Two (2)
Hours and Pay: minimum 30 hours | $25 - $30 (depending on relevant experience)
Minimum qualifications/experience: At least 1 year of experience in cleaning OR at least
level 2 or 3 qualification

About the Role

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining commercial premises to a high standard. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all assigned areas arecleaned efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, mop and clean floors and carpets.
• Dust, wipe and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms and other common areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste and recyclable materials appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment and tools safely.
• Remove dust, dirt and stains from surfaces and work areas.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or cleaning supply shortages to management.
• Ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
• Available to work between 8pm to 3am.

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
