Job summary

LET'S WORK IN NZ LTD in Taumarunui is seeking a reliable general cleaner for permanent full-time work. Flexible day and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday, with a pay rate of $26.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience and equipment usage.

You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, manage supplies, and complete end-of-tenancy cleans. Must have a clean police record, pass pre-employment drug testing, and have your own reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cleaning experience is preferred but a great attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and police background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general domestic cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping.
• Deep clean kitchens, ovens, bathrooms, and toilets to a high standard.
• Manage cleaning supplies and report low stock.
• Complete end-of-tenancy deep cleans and tidy commercial spaces as required.
• Work independently, follow directions, and stay compliant.

Position Overview

• Location: Taumarunui
• Job Type: Permanent Full time (Minimum 30- Maximum 40 hrs per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general domestic cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping.
• Deep clean kitchens, ovens, bathrooms, and toilets to a very high standard.
• Manage cleaning supplies efficiently and report when stock is running low.
• Complete end-of-tenancy deep cleans and commercial space tidying as required.
• Working independently, compliant, adherent or executing directives

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 1 years Experience Required , but a great attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Reliability: Excellent time management and absolute honesty are non-negotiable.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot the small things and take pride in leaving a space spotless.
• Physically fit: having the stamina, strength, and mobility to handle repetitive movements, long hours on your feet, and physical tasks like lifting and bending
• Requirements: Must have a clean police record (vetting will be required), pre employment drug testing and your own reliable transport to travel between local jobs.
