Job summary

MAHAKALI NZ LIMITED T/A CLEANCORP – Auckland, North Island is seeking three motivated Commercial Cleaners to join our team. The role involves professional window cleaning, gutter vacuums, showers, roofs, walls and floor cleaning across sites.

Full-Time (minimum 30 hours/week) with a pay rate of $24.00–$26.00 per hour. Rosters include weekends, nights, public holidays, and split/floating shifts. A NZ driving license is required to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Valid NZ driving license to travel between sites.
• Proactive approach to complete assigned work.
• Physically fit, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a team or independently (unsupervised).
• Available for weekends, night shifts and public holidays.
• Able to start early and finish late when required.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional window cleaning as a primary service.
• Operate a gutter vacuum safely and effectively.
• Clean shower glass and aluminium frames.
• Wash external walls, windows and surrounding areas.
• Clean roofs safely.
• Use a water blaster (pressure washer) correctly.
• Dust and wipe furniture and fixtures.
• Remove rubbish and recyclables; empty bins and trays.
• Clean and disinfect laundry and bathroom fixtures.
• Operate commercial vacuum cleaners for floors and work areas.
• Remove dust from ceilings, walls, pipes and fixtures.
• Clean stairwells and lifts.
• Carpet cleaning and floor buffing.
• Dust shelves and other surfaces as needed.
• Clean bathrooms and public areas.
• Maintain cleaning supplies per environmental act 1991; colour code cloths.
• Comply with safety policies, incident reporting and quality controls.
• Monitor contract performance and drive continuous improvement.

Position: Commercial Cleaner

Location: AUCKLAND

Employment Type: Full-Time (Minimum 30 hours/week)

Availability: Rostered shifts including weekends, nights shifts, public holidays, split and floating shifts. Candidate must be compulsorily available for Weekends.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Perform professional window cleaning (primary responsibility of the business).
• Operate a gutter vacuum safely and effectively.
• Restore and clean shower glass and aluminium frames.
• Wash houses externally (walls, windows, and surrounding areas).
• Clean and wash roofs safely.
• Use a water Blaster (pressure washer) safely and correctly.
• Cleaning, Dusting & wiping furniture and fixture.
• Removing Rubbish and recyclable material. Empty containers, bins and trays
• Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures.
• Operating commercial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines
• Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes and fixtures
• Clean stairwells and lifts.
• Carpets cleaning and Floor buffing
• Dust shelves and other surfaces as needed
• Clean bathrooms and public areas
• Maintain cleaning supplies according to environmental act 1991
• Colour coding - Correct use of cloths, mops, buckets and contamination control
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to the performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
• Monitor financial and contract performance while driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety and quality control standards.
• Conduct cleaning verification checks to ensure high hygiene standards.

Skills and Experience required:

• Valid International / New Zealand Driving License to drive a company car in New Zealand to travel from one site to another
• Someone that has a proactive approach to complete the work given.
• Be physically fit, hardworking, and reliable person with great attention to detail.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own (unsupervised)
• Available to work on weekends, nightshifts, and public holidays.
• Able to start early and finish late shift when require.
• Ability to lift up to 20KG.
