Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Commercial & Residential Cleaner to join a busy team. The role involves general cleaning, deep cleaning, and external soft washing across multiple sites, with 30–40 hours per week and shifts from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM, seven days a week.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow instructions to meet customer standards. Full training will be provided and health and safety guidelines must be observed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or equivalent driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work at different sites daily.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Physical stamina for repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Comfortable outdoors and with external cleaning and soft washing.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
• Clean windows, ovens, and other areas as required.
• Clean motorhomes and other vehicles.
• Perform external house soft washing, including cleaning exterior walls and driveways.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply cleaning solutions to remove dirt, mould, and other contaminants.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company procedures.

Days: Monday to Sunday
Hours: 30–40 hours per week

We are looking for Commercial & Residential Cleaners to join our friendly and motivated team. We operate7 days a week , providing commercial and residential cleaning services for houses, offices, schools, and other properties.

The role involves a variety of cleaning duties, including general cleaning, deep cleaning, external house soft washing , and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. We are looking for reliable staff with an eye for detail who are willing to listen, follow instructions, and work to meet customer expectations.

Willingness to work broken shifts is required.

Other Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or relevant international driver's licence equivalent.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.

• Dust furniture, windows, fixtures, and equipment.

• Follow health and safety guidelines, particularly when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.

• Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation are maintained at all times.

• Follow company procedures and customer instructions when working at different sites.

Full Training Provided

Full training will be provided , including training in cleaning procedures, equipment operation, health and safety, and external house soft washing techniques.
