Pacific Stone Ltd in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, seeks an experienced CNC Stone Saw Operator to join our stone benchtop production team. You will program and operate bridge saws and machining centres to cut and shape granite, quartz, marble, engineered stone and porcelain.

Responsibilities include loading slabs, interpreting CAD/CAM designs, monitoring quality and safety, and performing machine maintenance. Fluency in English and NZ work eligibility required; 40-50 hours weekly with occasional late

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency with CNC machinery.
• Experience operating CNC stone machinery and bridge saws is ideal.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM design files and templating software.

Aufgaben

• Machine Setup / Operation.
• Loading stone slabs onto the CNC machine.
• Programming and Design Interpretation - loading digital CAD/CAM design files to direct the machine's movements.
• Fabrication Control - monitoring the sawing and cutting process, checking for potential errors.
• Quality and Safety Control - inspecting finished pieces for precision and quality standards, checking for defects, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting machines, such as replacing worn blades or cleaning components.
