We are a growing market leader with continued investment in advanced CNC machinery and technology.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join our Mount Maunganui team.

This is not a repetitive production role. You'll work on a wide variety of custom components and engineered solutions, programming, setting, and operating modern CNC machine tools to manufacture high-quality parts for customers across New Zealand.

What you'll be doing
  • CNC routing and machining of engineering plastics and composite materials
  • CAM programming, machine setup, and optimisation
  • Programming and operating 3‑axis, 3+C axis, and 5‑axis CNC machine tools
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models
  • Developing machining processes for complex components
  • Prototype, one‑off, short‑run, and repeat production work
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity
Qualifications and Expectations
  • Hold a trade qualification in Joinery, Cabinetmaking, Carpentry, Wood Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related trade
  • Strong CNC programming and operating experience
  • Proficient with CAM software
  • Experience programming and operating 3+C axis and/or 5‑axis CNC machine tools
  • Confident working from CAD models and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Practical, solutions‑focused attitude
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
  • Experience machining engineering plastics would be advantageous
