Job summary

DAVIN INDUSTRIES LIMITED in Christchurch seeks a skilled CNC Programmer who can navigate code, tooling setups, and tight tolerances with pride in quality workmanship.

You will program and set CNC mills and lathes, read engineering drawings, and collaborate with production and engineering to improve processes and drive precision.

With a background in sheetmetal or fabrication, you optimise cycles and contribute to prototype through to production runs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role with CNC programming background.
• Background in sheetmetal or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Programming and setting CNC mills and lathes.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Assist with maintaining punch and laser production as required.
• Producing high-quality precision components.
• Troubleshooting machining issues and improving processes.
