Job summary

Davin Industries, a leader in precision sheetmetal fabrication, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to navigate code, tooling setups, and tight tolerances to produce high-quality components.

You will solve machining challenges, optimise cycle times, and contribute to production improvements across engineering and manufacturing teams. This role is based in Canterbury, with opportunities to work on prototype through to volume runs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar CNC programming role.
• Background in sheetmetal or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Programming and setting CNC mills and lathes.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Assist with maintaining punch and laser production as required.
• Producing high-quality precision components.
• Troubleshooting machining issues and improving processes.
• Working closely with production and engineering teams.
