High Duty Plastics in Rotorua seeks an experienced CNC Machinist/Operator to program and operate CNC Mills and Lathes, read technical drawings, and set up production runs. The role requires attention to detail and reliability, with opportunities for overtime and skill development.

Qualifications

• Has experience operating CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes.
• Can read and interpret technical drawings.
• Has good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Takes pride in producing accurate, quality work.
• Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Works well as part of a team and has a positive attitude.
• Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
• Fusion 360 CAM experience would also be an advantage.
• Is physically fit and able to meet the requirements of the role.
• Is a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Forklift or Crane Certificate would be an advantage

High Duty Plastics is a long-established, family-owned manufacturing business specialising in quality CNC machining and the supply of finished machined components across a wide range of materials and industries.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Operator to join our team.

The Role

• Program up and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes.
