Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with strong CNC milling.
• Ability to independently setup, prove and operate CNC milling machines.
• Experience operating multi-axis CNC machining centres in a precision engineering environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Setup, prove and operate CNC milling machines independently.
• Manufacture components to engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling, fixtures and workholding solutions.
• Perform machine setup, adjustments and program verification.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of precision, workmanship and safety.
• Produce one-off and small-batch components across various projects.
• Identify and resolve machining issues to maximise productivity.
• Collaborate with production to meet deadlines.
