Job summary

AIA is seeking a Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure to lead a high-performing team across New Zealand and regional groups. You will shape reliability, security, and future readiness of critical technology services, balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership, and drive modernisation through cloud and managed services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading infrastructure or cloud teams in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to balance reliability, risk, and continuous improvement.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset translating roadmaps into practical outcomes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, managed service providers, and service management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and support of cloud and infrastructure services with high availability and performance.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Build and develop a capable team through coaching and performance leadership.
• Strengthen technology resilience via disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing.
• Partner with stakeholders across New Zealand, Australia, and Group Technology to align priorities and deliver value.
• Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery.
