Job summary

AIA (Vietnam) Life Insurance in Auckland seeks an experienced Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure to lead a high-performing team. You will shape reliability, security and future readiness of critical technology services across New Zealand and regional teams, balancing strategic planning with operational leadership.

You will drive automation, governance, and vendor management, partnering with senior leaders to deliver value and resilience across enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading infrastructure, cloud, or technology services teams within complex enterprise environments.
• Track record delivering reliable technology services while balancing operational priorities, risk, and continuous improvement.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills enabling collaboration across technical, business, and vendor stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset and ability to translate technology roadmaps and future-state thinking into practical outcomes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, managed service providers, and service management practices.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, ITIL certification, or governance, risk, and audit frameworks may apply.

• Lead the delivery and support of cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and reliability
• Drive operational excellence through automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and efficiency
• Build and develop a capable, engaged team through coaching, mentoring, and clear performance leadership
• Strengthen technology resilience by leading disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity outcomes
• Partner with stakeholders across New Zealand, Australia, and Group Technology teams to align priorities and deliver business value
• Manage vendor and service provider relationships to achieve high-quality outcomes, strong service performance, and cost-effective delivery

As Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure, you will shape the reliability, security, and future readiness of critical technology services that support business success across New Zealand and broader regional teams. Working closely with senior leaders, vendors, and technology partners, you will balance strategic planning with operational leadership, helping modernise infrastructure through cloud and managed services.
