Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Clinical Trial Manager to oversee complex trials in the pharmaceutical sector, supporting operations in Queenstown and surrounding areas. You will plan, execute and ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will lead trial teams, coordinate sites and CROs, and ensure data integrity and patient safety across multiple studies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare field; advanced degree preferred.
• ≥5 years of progressive clinical trial management experience in pharma/biotech.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP, and regulatory submissions.
• Experience managing multiple trials across therapeutic areas.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop comprehensive clinical trial protocols, project plans, and budgets.
• Select, qualify, and manage clinical trial sites, ensuring timely patient recruitment and retention.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Clinical Trial Manager to oversee complex clinical trials within the pharmaceutical sector, supporting operations related to Queenstown and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of clinical studies, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. You will manage multiple aspects of trial conduct, including site selection, monitoring, data management, and regulatory compliance. This position is key to bringing innovative therapies to patients and requires strong leadership and project management skills in the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive clinical trial protocols, project plans, and budgets.
• Select, qualify, and manage clinical trial sites, ensuring timely patient recruitment and retention.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, including monitoring, data collection, and query resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including GCP, FDA, and local regulations.
• Manage relationships with contract research organizations (CROs) and other vendors.
• Lead and mentor clinical research staff, fostering a high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical trial management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP, and regulatory submission requirements.
• Proven experience in managing multiple clinical trials simultaneously and across different therapeutic areas.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
