Job summary

NZCR is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead post-award trials from initiation to close-out. You’ll partner with sponsors, CROs and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence and high quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Research Manager, you will drive risk management, recruitment tracking, and regulatory compliance, while advancing global health through world-class clinical research.

Qualifications

• Degree in science or health-related field required.
• Experience managing clinical trials or complex projects.
• Familiarity with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trials from post-award through close-out.
• Manage timelines, budgets and delivery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Identify and resolve trial risks and issues.
• Monitor recruitment performance and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and regulations.
• Track budget variations and financial performance.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.

About the Role

Full Time, Permanent

As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of assigned clinical trials from post-award through to close-out. You'll act as the primary sponsor contact, leading cross-functional teams to deliver trials on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Research Manager, you'll play a key role in advancing global health through world-class clinical research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical trials from post-award through close-out
• Manage trial timelines, budgets, and delivery plans
• Build strong relationships with sponsors, CROs, and vendors
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet trial milestones
• Identify, manage, and resolve trial risks and issues
• Monitor recruitment performance and participant outcomes
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements
• Track financial performance and manage budget variations
• Drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives
• Maintain audit readiness and trial documentation oversight

Skills & Experience
