Radius Care is seeking a Clinical Team Leader in Tauranga to deliver high-quality, resident-focused care on the floor while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with standards. You will lead by example, develop the team, and support clinicians to improve confidence and care outcomes.
The successful candidate will hold NZ APC, bring 3+ years of NZ clinical experience (aged care desirable), and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organisation.

Full-time, approx. 30 hours per week
As a Clinical Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, resident-focused care. You’ll work hands‑on on the floor, providing direct care and clinical oversight, while also mentoring and coaching other Registered Nurses to grow their skills and confidence.You’lllead by example, support and develop clinical staff, and ensure compliance with health and disability standards. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documents
Work on the floor to deliver and oversee resident care
Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing and care staff
Ensure best practice care is delivered consistently
Manage risk, quality, and compliance with sector standard
Oversee infection control, wound care, and medication management
Coordinate with GPs, pharmacies, and allied health professionals
Lead audits, care planning, and staff development initiatives

Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in New Zealand
Proven experience in aged care or hospital-level care is desirable
Experience with Psychogeriatric residents is desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Computer literacy and familiarity with interRAI assessments
