Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Clinical Services Manager based at Clutha Views Lifecare & Village in Balclutha, South Otago. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) leads nursing and care teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate resident care.

You will work closely with Regional and Care Home Managers to ensure Aged Care standards are met, mentor clinical staff, and drive continuous improvement while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NZ practising certificate; aged care experience preferred.
• Management/leadership experience is essential.
• Experience with InterRAI and care planning is desirable.

About Our Role

We have a fantastic opportunity as a Clinical Services manager for a healthcare professional with a passion for providing exceptional care, to lead our teams to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will provide effective leadership, deliver high-quality care, and be great at building relationships with all key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, promoting their well-being, and ensuring our residents have a better every day.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate, ideally with experience in aged care.
• Experience in management and leadership is must.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building successful relationships.
• Work closely with the Regional Managers and Care Home Managers to ensure compliance as per Aged care standards
• Strong mentoring and support for Clinical team of nurses and caregivers
• Experience in InterRai and Careplanning is desired
• Experience implementing best practice and knowledge of continuous improvement systems and processes.
• A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
