Job summary

Heritage Lifecare in Balclutha is seeking a Clinical Services Manager with a Registered Nurse qualification and current NZ practising certificate. You will lead a clinical team across rest home, dementia and hospital care, delivering high-quality care and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Based at Clutha Views Lifecare & Village, the role is permanent full-time (40 hours/week) with a competitive salary. NZ immigration rules apply; applicants must have the right to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NZ practicing certificate (current).
• Experience in aged care is preferred.
• Management and leadership experience is essential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with InterRai and Care planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to care teams and ensure high-quality care.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Regional and Care Home Managers.
• Lead and mentor the clinical nursing team to ensure regulatory compliance.

About Our Role

We have a fantastic opportunity as a Clinical Services manager for a healthcare professional with a passion for providing exceptional care, to lead our teams to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will provide effective leadership, deliver high-quality care, and be great at building relationships with all key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care, promoting their well-being, and ensuring our residents have a better every day.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate, ideally with experience in aged care.
• Experience in management and leadership is must.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building successful relationships.
• Work closely with the Regional Managers and Care Home Managers to ensure compliance as per Aged care standards
• Strong mentoring and support for Clinical team of nurses and caregivers
• Experience in InterRai and Careplanning is desired
• Experience implementing best practice and knowledge of continuous improvement systems and processes.
• A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
