Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Clinical Secretarial Support at Nelson Hospital. The role provides essential administrative support to consultants and clinical teams, coordinating the patient journey from referral to community return, and ensuring accurate data management and transcription of medical documents.
The position is permanent, full-time (80 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

As Clinical Secretarial Support, you will provide administrative support to our consultants and clinical teams, assist with coordinating the patient journey from initial specialist appointment through hospital-based care and back into the community.
This position requires excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate data management of our patient information care system and transcribing medical documents.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00AM to 4.30PM.

As Clinical Secretarial Support, you will:
A typing speed of 50 words per minute or more is essential. Audio transcription experience and medical terminology would be advantageous but not essential. Our preferred applicants will be required to undertake a computer skills assessment.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
