Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Tutor to shape the education of undergraduate pharmacy students and support experiential learning within the hospital setting.

You will contribute clinical expertise, supervise pharmacists and students, and collaborate with the School of Pharmacy to enhance the Rotational Pharmacist Programme and workplace-based learning.

Qualifications

• BPharm or recognised qualification and NZ Pharmacist registration eligibility.
• At least 3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proactive, adaptable with a passion to teach and develop others.
• Evidence of clinical pharmacy practice showing skills in clinical reasoning and medicines management.

Responsibilities

• Teach into the BPharm course at the University of Auckland School of Pharmacy.
• Support experiential learning placements within Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
• Facilitate workplace-based learning for clinical pharmacy staff within Te Toka Tumai Auckland including Rotational Pharmacist Programme content and assessment tools.
• Promote a learning culture within the clinical team.
• Provide a high level, comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to a specified group of patients.
