As a Clinical Pharmacy Team Coordinator, you will lead, develop and ensure delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the patients, other service users and staff of Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau. You will lead other members of the clinical pharmacy team in a professional, ethical manner and support them to deliver a high quality, equitable clinical service.
Remuneration for this role is between $117,420 and $122,570 per year (approximately $56.45 to $58.93 per hour) for full‑time equivalent, dependent on experience. You will be encouraged to develop your clinical and leadership skills across disciplines with opportunities for career development.
Whangarei Hospital is a medium‑sized (approximately 260 beds) secondary hospital located in Whangarei. Our service includes 20 pharmacists providing clinical pharmacy services to inpatient areas across Medicine, Surgery, Older Peoples Health & Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Children’s Health, Mental Health, Infectious Diseases & Antimicrobial Stewardship, Cancer and Blood services and Renal services.
