Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a close-knit clinical team in a small aged care facility. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, clinical governance, and staff development in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain documentation, and uphold compliance while mentoring your team and guiding elederly residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ aged care experience.
• Current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Strong leadership with ability to oversee clinical services.
• Experience mentoring and developing teams.
• Sound management, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Genuine empathy for elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the clinical team to uphold high care standards.
• Assist the Facility Manager with daily operations.
• Ensure high standards of resident care are maintained.
• Oversee clinical documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Manage staffing, including performance and development.
• Coordinate clinical supplies to ensure cost-effective use.
